The Second Battle of Naboo (22 BBY) was a battle of the Clone Wars fought between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The CIS failed in their attack on the Republic planet of Naboo, and it was their second and last attempt to attack the planet.
History[]
The Confederacy of Independent Systems was bested numerous times in the Outer Rim, so they decided to attack the heart of the Galactic Republic in Naboo, home of Chancellor Sheev Palpatine and Senator Padme Amidala. The CIS deployed a force of 150 battle droids to the planet in hopes of conquering it from the Republic, but the clone troopers stationed on the planet resisted them. The clones fought off the separatist attacks, utilizing their new heavy troopers for the first time. The droid AATs were not extensively used by the CIS for some reason during this battle, and the Republic used their AT-RTs to gain the advantage. The droid army was totally wiped out, and the Republic destroyed the droid fleet in a victory over the separatists.
