Vasp Vaspar was born on the Taldot system, and he represented his system in the Imperial Senate. Vaspar would side with the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War, serving as Minister of Industry under Mon Mothma's provisional government. Vaspar was an expert on the resources of the Alliance, and he did not believe that the Alliance could go up against the Galactic Empire's "Death Star" battlestation during an open war against Emperor Palpatine.
